PURPOSE:To prepared a rolled ''sushi'' by wrapping a shaped ''sushi'' rice with a packaging film and a laver sheet in such a manner that the laver is separated from the ''sushi'' rice by the film, thereby keeping the laver from moisture and enabling to obtain a laver-rolled ''sushi'' only by extracting the pckaging film. CONSTITUTION:A packaging film 4 is placed on a flat plate 1 and the upper face of opened cylindrical mold halves 9, and a sheet of laver 3 is placed on one mold half 9a. The edge of the laver sheet 3 is clamped with a holder 7. A rod-shaped ''sushi'' rice 2 is placed on the hollow part 11 of the mold half 9a, and the rounded end of the laver sheet 3 is contacted with the ''sushi'' rice in the mold 9a. A part of a label 25 is attached to the left end of the film 4b. The two molds halves 9b and 9a are closed, and the ''sushi'' rice 2 is contained in a housing 8. By turning a bar 23, the film 4a is drawn through a slit 13 into the housing 11 together with the laver 3, and the ''sushi'' rice is wrapped with the film and the laver. |
