<p>A round bar-shaped hinge batten serves as swivel axis for a top light, esp. on a caravan. It is held in a hollow catch batten, in a holding batten, fitting the cross-section of the frame a hinge batten, with spring action on the engagement between hinge and end stops. The holder batten (4) on the flap wing (1) is a monolithic profile strip, which is approx. U-shaped. One of its shanks incorporates the hollow catch batten (5), fitting the round bar (6) on the inside. The other shank has an inside housing space (12) for the spring (7) which secures engagement of the hinge configuration (2). This is simple and inexpensive, with few components involved.</p> |
