PURPOSE:To manufacture easily magnetic sheet made of metal of inferior workability, by extruding a molten magnetic material contained in a heating vessel through a cooling nozzle installed at the outlet of the vessel, and by cooling and solidifying the material quickly to form into sheet. CONSTITUTION:Cooling material such as cold water or low-temp. N2 gas is passed through the nozzle 4 of a heating vessel 1 so as to maintain the nozzle 4 at a cooled state. The magnetic material charged into the heating vessel 1 is heated and melted by a heater 2, then an inert gas such as Ar gas is introduced by opening a valve 9 through a pipe 8 into the vessel 1 in order to extrude the molten material 10 through a nozzle 3 and cooling nozzle 4. Hereby the material 10 is solidified to form steel sheet 11 by rapid cooling while passing through the nozzle 4. |
