<p>The toy comprises a flat square frame which forms a window. This also provides a housing for the pivots of a number of flat discs spaced around its periphery, the discs partly overlapping. The surfaces of these discs are covered with coloured areas, which form parts of an integrated picture of pattern when all discs are correctly aligned and synchronised in the window. This is effected by rotating the discs and more complex operations are possible by combining the disc rotations with the movements of various interrelated levers.</p> |
