The sailboard hull, adjustable for wind and wave conditions, has a flexible foam core encased in an envelope (11) which is at least partially elastic, but strong enough to withstand normal wear and tear. A frame (14) inside the hull, firmly fixed top and bottom, supports a centre line guide rod (24) carrying sliding sleeves (20), positioned by deck-mounted, eccentric, spring-loaded discs (20), with pin-joined arms (28) to the sides (15, 16) for varying the hull outline. A transverse shaft (39) in the frame supports an arm (42) on a ratchet mounting (21) for varying the angle of the bow section. The board upper side may carry reinforcing boards with shafts for the eccentric discs.
|
