PURPOSE:To readily and finely control the charge erasing portions, etc. on photoreceptor by using an electrically controllable shutter part. CONSTITUTION:A shutter part 8 composed of electro-optic ceramic material is provided between a photosensitive drum 1 and lamp 7 and is made electrically controllable by a control part 9 consisting of a central processing unit, read-on- memory, etc. With this arrangement, the control part 9 compares and operates the rotating positions of the photosensitive drum detected by a drum rotating position detecting circuit 11 and the original position detected by an original position detecting part 10 and latches the results thereof subsequently in register 12, 13. The shutter part 8 is then controlled of its applied voltage by drivers 14, 15 according to the contents of the registers 12, 13 and is controlled of its transmittance rate between 0-100%, whereby the charge erasing portions or exposure portions on the photosensitive drum 1 are finely controlled and edition function is thus given. |
