PURPOSE:To obtain the limiter circuit excellent in phase characteristics by compensating the effect of AM-PM conversion. CONSTITUTION:The limiter circuit is constituted with two transistors 2, 7 having the load resistors 3, 8 and operated as current switch in connection with common power supply. When the input signal Vi is fed to the base input terminal 1 of the transistor 2 and the limiter output Vo is obtained from the collector terminal 9 of the transistor 7. The capacitor 21 for AC bypass is connected to the base of the transistor 7 and DC bias is fed to give the DC offset voltage between the terminal 20 and the terminal 1. This offset voltage can control the AM-PM conversion characteristics of the limiter circuit. |
