PURPOSE:To enable to emit arbitrary polarized waves, by enabling to emit the right polarized circular wave and left polarized circular wave independently and its electric field strength ratio and phase difference variably from the antenna aperture. CONSTITUTION:The output of the power distributor 11 is inputted to the shunt slot type polarized wave generators 20 21, directly or via the phase shifter 12. The horizontal polarized wave 28 from the polarized wave generator 20 is emitted as the left polarized circular wave via the metal grid plate 23, horn emitter 25 having the aperture corrector 27, and circularlizer 26. Further, the horizontal polarized wave 29 from the polarized wave generator 21 is converted into vertical polarized wave at the 90 deg. phase converter 22 and after the metal grid plate 24, it is emitted as the right polarized wave via the same path as the horizontal polarized wave 28. The electric field intensity and phase difference between the both circular polarized waves can arbitrarily be adjusted and the synthesized polarized wave can be taken as desired and arbitrary polarized waves. |
