PURPOSE:To omit operations for regulating positions of printing head and platen, by supporting in a bent state a plate spring, which is operatively connected to a wire, whereby a sufficient wire stroke margine can be obtained. CONSTITUTION:A plate spring 22 having a printing wire 23 connected thereto is provided such that a fulcrum 24 of the spring 22 is in a position where the spring 22 is attracted to the permanent magnet 20 and an electromagnet 21 to be bent and accumulate a resilient force therein. When the plate spring 22 is straightly formed, it is provided such that the fulcrum of the spring 22 is somewhat closer to a yoke 19 than a plane including the free ends of the magnets 20, 21. The plate spring 22 is adapted to be rotated about the fulcrum 24 toward a platen by an inertia force or the resilient force thereof when the spring 22 is released. Therefore, even when the plate spring 22 passes a neutral point 22', a force to bend the spring 22 is the opposite direction does not occur so that the resilent force toward platen of the spring 22 can be effectively utilized. |
