The installation is for the simultaneous measuring and sorting of a number of similar construction elements fitted with a measuring head suitable for the simultaneous reception and measuring of a large number of construction elements (12). The installation includes a mechanical intermediate store (9) which receives the measured construction elements sorted from the measuring head and there is a distributor (10) located below the intermediate store and adjustable relative to it. The distributor is subdivided into compartments (T1-T10) arranged in such a way that only one compartment is located below the intermediate store at any one time.
