PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a bleaching fog and the generation of a stain of the sensitive material already processed due to a rapid processing by incorporating a specified magenta coupler in the title material, and a specified compd. in a processing solution having a bleaching ability as a bleaching agent. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material contains the magenta coupler shown by formula I. The processing solution having the bleaching ability contains at least one kind of the ferric complex salt of a compd. such as ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid, etc., and the ferric complex salt of 1,3-diaminopropane tetraacetic acid in a molecular ratio of the former to the latter of <=3, as the bleaching agent. In the formula Za and Zb are each a group shown by formula II, R1 and R2 are each hydrogen atom. or a substituting group, X is hydrogen atom. or a group capable of being released by a coupling reaction with the oxidant of an aromatic primary amine developing agent, when group Za=Zb is carbon-carbon double bond, the group Za=Zb constitutes a part of an aromatic ring. Thus, the generation of the bleaching fog of the sensitive material, and the generation of the magenta stain of the sensitive material due to the rapid processing are prevented. |
