PURPOSE:To obtain a light, miniaturized, high-speed, low-noise printer of a highly- densed arrangement by providing in a pipe therein a heat discharge unit filled with a volatile liquid. CONSTITUTION:The heat of a printer head 30 is discharged from a coil 2 and transferred to an outer wall 11 to gasify flon in the first hollow space 22. Namely, this heat is consumed in the first heat exchanger to gasify the flon, the temperature of which is not increased in excess of its boiling point of 47.6 deg.C. The gasified flon is introduced into the second heat exchanger 17 through a pipe 14. The serial printer head 30 and heat exchanger 17 can be reciprocatingly moved with a carriage 29. An air current flows through fins 18 of the heat exchanger 17 and air pipes 16 to cool flon gas for liquefying the same. The flon gas thus liquefied is recirculated to the first heat exchanger through the second pipes 13, 19. |
