PURPOSE:To record information on ordinary paper with a magnetic toner and prevent a thermal head from being soiled, by transferring recording paper and a magnetic-toner support consisting of a magnetic film in the same direction at the same speed, which magnetic film is moved on a thermal head. CONSTITUTION:Recording paper 4 is transferred by feed rollers 5, 7 in the same direction at the same speed as a magnetic film 2. A thermal head 1 is disposed in contact with the inner surface, i.e. a surface not in contact with the recording paper 4, of the magnetic film to melt in accordance with an image signal a toner 3 introduced between the magnetic film 2 and recording paper 4, and form a visible image on the recording paper. The molten toner 3 is never fused on the magnetic film 2 owing to a fusion preventive layer formed thereon. This simple structure permits recording information on ordinary paper and reducing a running cost. |
