<p>The upper or lower dental prosthesis has suction chambers of relatively large cross-section towards the jaw. The base of the prosthesis (2) towards the jaw has a large number of recesses (3, 4) of any desired shape but differing cross-sectional areas, their edges enclosing their openings being shaped to fit against the jaw. With an upper jaw prosthesis, there can be a larger number of deeper recesses of small cross-section near the alveolar extension, and a smaller number of larger cross-section and shallower ones at the soft gum (6).</p> |
