<p>PURPOSE:To ensure an effective use of the system by designating the word through the electronic dictinoary via the key, delivering the meaning of the word, displaying the output, and using the display substance in common to the display substance of the computer. CONSTITUTION:The diagrams show the dictionary mode and the computer mode each. Main body cabinet 1, display part 2, switch 3 and mode change-over switch 4 are provided each. Switch 4 can be switched between the computer and dictionary modes through sliding. Coupling to switch 4, the index of the key switch varies along with the alteration of the function of the key. For instance, the words and the translated sentence are displayed from the upper through lower tiers in case the dictionary function is in action. While in the case of the computer function, the upper tier is used for the memory display with the lower tier used for the display of the normal read-in data and the arithmetic result respectively.</p> |
