<p>PROCESS FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF PERFLUORO-ALKOXY-PROPIONIC ACID FLUORIDES of the disclosure: Perfluoro-alkoxy propionic acid fluorides may be obtained by reacting hexafluoro-propene epoxide with a perfluorocarboxylic fluoride in an aprotic polar solvent in the presence of a N,N,N',N'-tetrasubstituted diaminodifluoromethane as catalyst. The compounds obtained may be used as starting products for valuable perfluoro ethers which are highly inert towards heat or aggressive chemicals, such as fluorine.</p> |
