The convector unit (1) for installation in bldgs. comprises a rectangular base (3) around the edges of which are upright walls (2), the upper edge (4) of which is fitted in turned around U- profiles. The body plate of the U-profile is lengthened slanting outwards in relation to the unit, and supports an upwardly directed strip. Angle fixtures are formed by pieces of which the arms are clamped between the strip and angle profiles provided along the outside. The walls of the unit are made of a foam material core contained int wo thin sheets of aluminium.
