<p>The present invention is concerned with a method for the removal of gaseous organic impurities form waste gases by means of a bed of a regenerable adsorbent filter material which is caused to move through a vessel. As an adsorbent filter material, there is used a highly active biological product in the form of an at least partially decomposed compost obtained by biological decomposition of organic waste materials and/or sludges of sedimentation.
