The invention relates to a device for reducing the risk of transmission errors in an information-transmitting system. The said invention is characterized in that amplifying detecting devices are provided which amplify each received signal and, when the level of the low-frequency portions contained in the received signal reaches a threshold value, reduce the said amplification in such a manner that the said low-frequency portions do not exceed the said threshold value; and in that components are provided which prevent any information from being switched through when the level of the low-frequency portions is falling and/or rising. The invention is preferably used for railroads.
