<p>PURPOSE:To produce the title moldings with excellent appearance with safety by injecting a silane compound solution containing an organic peroxide and a specific anti-aging agent into the extruder at the time of grafting of polyolefin. CONSTITUTION:A polyolefin resin which, if necessary, may be blended with a silanol condensation catalyst, is supplied into the hopper of an extruder, and a solution of a silane compound of the formula: RR'SiY2 (wherein R is a monovalent olefinic unsaturated hydrocarbon group or hydrocarbonoxy group, Y is hydrolyzable organic group, and R' is R, Y or H) containing a compound which generates a free- radical moiety in the resin molecule at 140 deg.C or higher and an anti-aging compound having a 3,4-di- tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl group (or its derivative) but not having a hydroquinone group (or its derivative) and 4,4'-thiobisphenol group (or its derivative), is injected into the extruder at a suitable position between the hopper and the measuring section to effect graft polymerization. The obtained polymer is extruded to give desired moldings, which are exposed to atmosphere in the presence of water.</p> |
