PURPOSE:To suppress the transversal oscillation toward broadwise, by providing the piezoelectric element at the surface end of mechanical oscillator so that it opposes to the plate thickness. CONSTITUTION:A pair of piezoelectric elements 2, 3 are mounted opposingly to the oscillation plate 1 to the end. The polarity of piezoelectric elements 2, 3 is selected positive for one and negative for another and they are driven at the same time. With this constitution, since the piezoelectric elements 2, 3 are of opposite polarity each other and located at the end opposingly, the driven point impedance of the transversal oscillation broadwise is higher to obtain difficulty in the oscillation toward broadwise. Accordingly, if a pair of piezoelectric elements are mounted with slite slope or shifted to opposite direction mutually at the ene due to manufacturing dispersion, the component of transversal oscillation broadwise can almost be zeroed. |
