发明名称 ACCELERATING METHOD FOR DEPHOSPHORIZATION IN BOTTOMMBLOWN CONVERTER REFINING
摘要 PURPOSE:To accelerate dephosphorization, by, in refining steel in a bottom-blown converter, adding CaO powder together with steel making slag powder which is strongly basic and excellent in slag making property. CONSTITUTION:In refining steel in a bottom-blown converter, fine powder of CaO together with refining oxygen is blown into the converter as a slag-making agent. At the same time, powder of steel making slag, which is formed in an electric furnace and is strongly basic, is charged as a slag-making agent through the throat or the tuyere in order to form slag. The P contained in the molten cast iron is oxidized to P2O5, which reacts with CaO contained in the molten slag to form CaO, P2O5, hereby the cast iron is easily dephosphorized. Consequently, the dephosphorization of steel of comparatively high carbon content is made possible, and high- carbon low-phosphor steel is easily manufactured.
