PURPOSE:To shorten inter-electrode distance and enable distorsion of a electrostriction vibrator without need of applying a high voltage by fitting a good conductor between electrode-fitted flanges of a cylindrical electrostriction vibrator and fitting an electrode to the conductor. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical electrostriction vibrator 21 is provided with flanges, which are fitted with electrodes 23 snd 24. A good conductor 22 is fitted between the flanges, and fitted with an electrode 25. By this constitution, it is needless to adhere an electrode to the cylindrical inside surface. Since the electrode 25 is fitted to the conductor 22 between the flanges fitted with the electrodes 23 and 24, inter- electrode distance is reduced so that the vibrator can be distorted without need of applying a high voltage. Thus, the diameter of a cylindrical electrostriction vibrator can be reduced, and a number of heads can be increased easily. |
