PURPOSE:To efficiently produce resin coils of a fixed diameter by shaping the reinforcement such as steel wire into coil-like configuration and coating it with a molten resin. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcement 4 such as steel wire coiled on a rotary drum is fed into the die head 10 from the end of the guide hole 7 in the guide plate 6 through a side opening 11a in the nozzle 11, then pressed against the blocks 14, 16 secured rotatably to the arms 13, 15 to shape said reinforcement into the form of a coil and discharged out from the nozzle hole 20. On the other hand, the molten resin is supplied into the nozzle hole 20, which is rhombic in sectional shape and provided in the die plate 19, through a resin feed hole 8a in the extruder 8, a resin feed hole 12a in the head 12 and a resin feed groove 11b formed around the end of the nozzle 11, and the reinforcement 4 discharged out from the nozzle hole 20 is coated tape- like continuously with said resin and then cooled. |
