PURPOSE:To provide a cast permanent magnet alloy esp. easy to heat treat by adding misch metal and/or a rare earth element to a Fe-Cr-Co magnet alloy of a predetermined compsn. CONSTITUTION:0.1-2wt% of misch metal and/or a rare earth element is added to a Fe-Cr-Co magnet alloy contg., by wt., Co 3-30%, Cr 10-40%, V 0-4% and Ti 0-5% to provide a cast Fe-Cr-Co permanent magnet alloy. The melting temp. of this alloy is lowered without practically deteriorating the magnetic properties. Accordingly, the pouring temp. of the alloy melted can be lowered, and the fluidity improved. |
