PURPOSE:The title electric wire having improved heat resistance and bond stength, obtained by baking a solution of a polyhydroxy-polyether resin having a specific molcular weight, and a p-hydroxystyrene polymer in an organic solvent applied to an electric conductor. CONSTITUTION:A solution of (A) a polyhydroxy-polyether resin having an average molecular weight >=10,000 of formula I: (R1 is -O-, -S-, -SO2-, -CH2-, or -C(CH3)2-; R2 is H or alkyl group), and (B) a p-hydroxystyrene polymer having an average molecular weitht >=3,000, and, if necessary, (C) a stabilized isocyanate, in (D) an organic solvent is applied to the electric conductor 1 directly or via another insulator 3, and baked to form the self-fusible film layers 2 and 4. The weitht ratio of (A) to (B) is 50:50-90:10, and that of (C)/(A+B) is <=10:100. |
