PURPOSE:To measure the carbon dioxide concentration in tested liquid (gas) with good response, by inserting the air-permeable tube passing through bicarbonat ion water solution and measuring the pH in the said solution. CONSTITUTION:In the test body such as tested liquid (gas) indicated with the part 4 surrounded with broken lines, air-permeable tube (made of silicone and Teflon etc.) 5 is inserted, and in the tube 5, potassium carbonat water solution (concentration: about 0.1mol/liter) is delivered from the liquid tank 6 and it is returned to the liquid tank 6 via the flow cell 8 fitting the pH electrode 1. By using the said unit, the pH of water solution is measured with the pH electrode 1 and the output is passed through the high impedance voltmeter 9 and the analog converter 10 to display it on the linear meter 11 as carbon dioxide gas concentration in the tested body. |
