<p>A light cell for an electric display board comprises a cylindrical holder (1) secured in the board (2) and containing a spring biased cylindrical body (11) which is engaged bayonet-fahion by a transparent cover (13). The holder (1) has a portion (1e) projecting centrally of the body (11) and supporting a central terminal (7) and an outer terminal of opposed leaf springs engaging in an annular groove (9c) in a bulb (9). Pressing on the cover (13) engages the bulb groove (9c) with the leaf springs. To disengage the bulb, the cover (13) is turned through 60 deg. to disengage the bayonet connection. The cover is then further rotated to bring two tapered limbs (13d) of the cover (13) into alignment with the leaf springs. Pressing the cover interposes the limbs between the bulb and springs, releasing the bulb.</p> |
