PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition having effects on weeds in growth period free from phytotoxicity to paddy rice plants, by combining 1- azido-2-[4-(3,5-dichloro-2-pyridyloxy)phenoxy]propane with ethyl 2,4-dichlo rophenoxyacetate, etc. CONSTITUTION:A herbicide composition for paddy fields containing 1- azido-2-[4-(3,5-dichloro-2-pyridyloxy)phenoxy]propane shown by formula I and one or more compounds selected from ethyl 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetate shown by formula II, ethyl 2-methyl-4-chlorophenoxyacetate shown by formula III and 3-isopropyl-3H-2,1,3-benzothiadiazin-3-one 2,2-dioxide shown by formula IV. The composition continues herbicidal effects for a long period of time and strongly synergistic effects between components. |
