The lubrication mechanism is for several bearing points arranged one behind the other on a common shaft. The shaft has a lengthways hole, out from which cross holes run to the bearing positions. To lubricate the individual bearing points (2), a piston (9) is pushed into the lengthways hole (7) of the shaft (3) from the outside. The piston has a lubricant feed (17) connected to an inner channel (10) which has an outlet aperture or apertures on the periphery of the piston. The piston (9) is connected to a tubular intermediary piece (16), in the free end of which a lubrication nipple (17) is inserted.
