A toy building set consists of a number of beams of various cross-sections moulded from polystyrene. The cross-section may be rectangular or channel section with transverse ribs at equally spaced intervals. Smaller rectangular sections also with equally spaced ribs are used to simulate laths supporting roof tiles. The sections can be cut to length as required and used to give a realistic appearance to toy building which can be erected with roof rafters, laths and tiles. The parts are arranged to clip together but permanent structures can be made using adhesive.
