The wheel brace consists of a socket head (1) and a lever arm (4). The end of the arm has a hinge point (6) on which an extension arm (3) is mounted. Each arm has an extension (7, 8) which extends at right angles from the arms. The extensions act as stops, when the arms have been swung out by 180 deg. The fully extended arm makes it possible to exert a large torque on the wheel nuts.
