PURPOSE:To make it possible to reuse worn-out cylinder of an engine by providing a replaceable cylinder wall protector inside the engine cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A piston (not shown) slides within a cylinder chamber 3 defined by a cylinder head 1 and a cylinder block 2. In the cylinder chamber 3 in which the piston slides, a replacealbe cylinder wall protector A is inserted from the top of the cylinder block 2. |
