<p>The sliding regulator for controlling the air supply in a vehicle ventilation system has a cross-shaped body (2) with a knob mounted on the bottom arm (4) of the cross. The two horizontal arms (2) each carry a roller (3) at the end, to travel in a horizontal slot (1) across the housing. The top arm (5) also travels alongside an elongated chamber (7) above and parallel to the slot. This carries a locating peg (8) which projects sideways and also houses a roller with its axis vertical. Instead of a roller, two spaced balls can be fitted inside the top arm.</p> |
