PURPOSE:To stably convey the originals without completely synchronously between a conveying belt and a drive roller by counting the pulses which the pulse generating part provided to the original conveying belt outputs and controlling the driving of the conveying belt. CONSTITUTION:When the leading end of the original is detected with a switch 4, a counter 22 is reset by way of a waveform shaping circuit 11 and differentiating circuit 12 and at the same time a MD type FF 14 for motor drive is reset, causing a drive roller 1 to be turned by a motor 17 and the original to be conveyed by a conveying belt 2. Then, the pulses by light, etc. by a pulse generating part formed by a slit hole or the like provided to the belt 2 are counted by a counter 22. When the preset number is reached, an FF 14 is reset by the coincident output output by a combination circuit 23, causing the belt 2 to be stopped by the motor M and roller 1. Thereby, the original is stopped stably in the position of a stop claw 5 by the belt 2 even if the slip condition of the roller 1 and belt 2 changes according to environmental conditions. |
