PURPOSE:To erase a reception signal by selecting a value, which has the reverse polarity of a present sample value and an equal absolute value, out of the sample values of past difference signals to be kept in a memory and obtaining a sum with the present sample value. CONSTITUTION:According to the characteristic of an eye pattern in the reception signal of a transmission path code to include a binary code system, the minimum value of proportion, in which the present sample value and the sample value before a JT second (J is a positive integer number) has the reverse polarity and the absolute value goes to be the almost same value, obtains a certain positive value not to be zero. Accordingly, the difference signal (= residual echo + reception signal) is kept in memories 211-21m to correspond to a symbol waveform, to which the respective sample values belong, and on the other hand, when the sample value of the reverse polarity and equal absolute value is received, the difference signal is removed and added to the present sample value. Thus, the reception signal is erased. |
