<p>Heat-stable adhesive, curing at >=170 degrees C, contains as active component (a) 20-75% of a copolymer obtd. by polymerising (a1) 40-90% vinyl chloride, (a2) 5-55% vinyl acetate, (a3) 0.1-5% maleic acid and/or its anhydride, their sum = 100%, (b) 30-80% of a copolymer obtd. by polymerising (b1) 20-80% (meth)acrylic esters of 1-8C aliphatic alcohols (b2) 20-55% acrylo- and/or methacrylonitrile, (b3) 0-15% acrylic- and/or methacrylamide, (b4) 0-20% (meth)acrylic acid (b5) 0-20% glycidyl ester of (meth)acrylic acid, providing that >=1 of (b3)-(b5) is present in an amt. of >0%, the sum of (b1)-(b5) being 100%; (c) 1-20% of an epoxide resin. The sum of (a)-(c) = 100%. The adhesive also contains aids to adhesion i.e. tackifiers, agents facilitating bonding, pigments or fillers. The tackifiers are pref. present in amt. of =15% and are suitably polychloroprene, acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymers, alkylphenol resins, terpene phenols resins, OH- contg. polyesters, polyamides and polyurethanes.</p> |
