<p>PURPOSE:To prepare water-containing processed corn grains which can be stored for a long time at room temperature, and served only by opening the pack, easily and economically, by treating corn grains with an aqueous solution containing hydrogen peroxide and glycine, and sealing the treated grains in a small pack suitable for serve. CONSTITUTION:Corn grains (raw, steamed, boiled or frozen) are immersed in an aqueous solution containing about 50-200ppm of hydrogen peroxide and about 0.3-10% of glycine. After draining, the grains are packed in a small pack of polyethylene, polypropylene, etc., and sterilized by heating.</p> |
