The radiator has individual vertical sections, through which flows the heating medium, and a surface, which radiates heat forwards. The radiator front has passages for the room air to be heated, while rear, base and side are sealed against penetration of unwanted air. This forms an upwards lift channel (7). When steel pipes (3) with strongly ribbed cast aluminium coating are used for the heating medium, the surface ratio between the air and heating medium side is at least 15 and at most 30. The ribbing is preferably horizontal, or rises slightly in the direction of the air flow. The ribs (4, 5) may be larger in the lower part, while the lift channel top cross section may be greater.
|
