PURPOSE:To uniformly coat paste with good workability by setting up a path to return excessive paste downward which is scraped at the acute angle end for adjusting the coating thickness of a pair of opposed pastes. CONSTITUTION:The porous metal core 2 consisting of perforated band steel plates passes through a paste and is pulled up with both surfaces coated with the paste 4. It also passes through the paste coating thickness adjusting slitter 5 consisting of almost angle type jigs. The excessive paste 4' is scraped and the paste coating thickness is uniformalized. The acute angle end 22 for adjusting the paste coating thickness is set up at the upper opposed tip of this slitter 5 and the paste presurizing inclined plane 25 which has the acute angle end 24 of the broad pressurization section for adjusting the above coating thickness is set up halfway at the slant 23 of this acute angle end 22. The path 27 for returning the paste is formed between these surfaces 23 and 25. This permits the excessive paste 4' to return downward with good efficiency and uniform coating to be performed with good workability without cutting the core 2. |
