PURPOSE:To surely support a photo element by specifying the construction of the photo element support ring. CONSTITUTION:The first support ring 25 holding in place a photo element 3 consisting of a chip 3a, case 3b and lead wire 3c is formed to thick-walled cylindrical shape provided with plural detention claws 25a at the end edge side circumferential edge part, to an inside diameter smaller than the outside diameter of the collar edge 23a of a case 3b and fixing means 23 by metal material and the second support ring 26 is formed with insulation material such as synthetic resin, etc. to circular truncated cone shape which is cylindrical shape at the half portion on the end side of a large diameter at the half portion on the base end side and is gradually reduced of diameter as it goes toward the end side. If with this arrangement the first support ring 25 is pressure-advanced toward the end side, the tapered surface of the support ring 26 is pressed toward 28a of an external conductor 28 and the photo element 3 is firmly supported in the connector whereby the position deviation of the optical 11 is prevented. |
