Coupling for joining sterile hoses - with telescopic protective sleeves beyond length of hose contact ends

<p>A coupling for hoses which have to be kept sterile, e.g. for permanent intravenous infusion of human patients, includes protective sleeves on each contacting hose end. The sleeves are so designed and dimensioned that they fit into each other in telescope fashion in the engaged position and form a good seal. This coupling combines a simplified handling with a complete elimination of possible infection.</p>
