<p>A construction toy enables the user to cast a variety of articles in hardenable or polymerised plastics by providing a method of making the moulds. The moulds are made from square plates (1) of metal, wood or plastics and can be joined together by gusset plates with holes for connecting pins. The plates are held the right distance aprt by internal spacers (12) and then secured by bridging pieces (14) (18) and clamps (13) and corner supports (17). Rectangular holes can be cast by using plates (1) with internally projecting bosses of the required size and shape.</p> |
