摘要 PURPOSE:To develop evenly from the part low in latent image potential to the part high in the potential and obtain excellent gradation, by charging the toner layer with the charge charging member having multiple electrode parts applied with DC. CONSTITUTION:Beside a hopper 6 is disposed a charge charging member 11 to which separate DC power source 10 is connected. This charging member 11 is formed in roller shape, and is designed to rotate at the same speed and in the same direction as a developing roller 1 in the vicinity thereof. A cover 12 is provided upwards from the both ends thereof, and a suction device 13 is provided at the top end part thereof. The charge charging member 11 has multiple electrode parts arrayed on the surface regularly and irregularly. For example, multiple needle electrodes 11b are planted on a conductive roller 11a, and each gap of electrodes is filled with insulators 11c such as resin. As a result, development of excellent gradation may be achieved.
