Multiple connector of printed boards or other circuits ensures low friction coupling of contact pins which are aligned with short and stiff contact springs of the connector. A ring or cup is lowered onto the assembly and its chamfered end aligns any distorted pin for pressing against the contact spring. The ring can be replaced by a clamping strip and the assembly is secured by retainers or screws. The design contributes to a simplified mfr. of connector, as well as allowing for visual inspection of contacts. Contact retention is not adversely affected by shocks and vibration.
