The camera accepts film rolls in cartridges or cassettes. The viewfinder is positioned above the film chamber and the shutter release-button at the side furthest from the viewfinder. An electric motor winds on the film, cocks the shutter and moves the lens for focussing. The pencil batteries (11) powering the motor are accommodated in a chamber (12) in the top part alongside the viewfinder, with their centre lines parallel to the direction of film movement. The battery chamber cover (13) forms part of the top of the camera. This design is space-saving yet permits easy change of batteries while preventing inadvertent film exposure.
|
