<p>PURPOSE:To melt casting material of a fixed shape with a crucible after casting and enable the casting of high quality and high precision to be obtained by substituting the crucible disposed with an electrode on the upper side and a precision mold on the lower side with a fixed shape material molding mold. CONSTITUTION:First, a fixed shape material molding mold 58 is replaced with a crucible 5, on which casting material 59 is placed and this is melted by the arc of an electrode 2. Then, the surface of the casting material 3 assumes the surface tension protruding curved face form before the solidification and impurities 68 gather in the central part thereof. Next, the impurities 58 are lightly shaped off and the crucible 5 is placed, thence an arc 4 is generated. Then, the casting material 3 begins to melt from the central part at the top of the protruding curved face and while it is being slightly cooled by the crucible 5 only by the linear contact part of the bottom thereof, it gradually melts downward. When it completely melts without leaving the linear contact part, the entire part flows together through effluent port 6 into the precision casting mold 9, whereby casting is accomplished.</p> |
