The invention relates to a towball coupling for in particular motor vehicles in which the ball neck 1 with the coupling ball 2 can be locked in separable manner to a housing 9 rigid on the vehicle. To rationalise production and for easier adaptation to the conditions created by motor vehicle construction in respect of the distance from the housing and the height of the ball head above the carriageway, the ball neck consists of two parts 1a, 1b which are inseparably connected to each other after production. One part 1a comprises the area which can be connected to the housing 9, together with the locking mechanism, while the other part 1b comprises the bar-like region of the ball neck with the coupling ball 2. <IMAGE> |
