PURPOSE:To shorten arithmetic time after an operator is given, by forming a multiple table right after a multiplication indication key is operated and then by performing a multiplication process referring to the multiple table formed when the operator is given after that. CONSTITUTION:When an operand is inputted by operating key input part 11 and numeral key 13, the operand is written in C register 17 by the output of control part 14. Next, when function key 12 of key input part 11 is operated, a multiple table is generated by buffer 24, M counter 25 and N-scale counter 30 and then stored in memory 23. Further, when an operator is inputted from key input part 11, its numeral is written in register 17 and when function key 12 is operated next, the contents of the multiple table stored in memory 23 are transferred to arithmetic registers 15-16 and adder circuit 21 performs a multiplication process by referring to the multiple table in memory 23. |
