PURPOSE:To provide a long usable battery driven emergency lamp by using LED of little reactive power for a luminous part. CONSTITUTION:A power source 11 is constituted by plural series of Mn batteries and a power source 11 of rated voltage is constituted, which is at least more than 0.5v higher than the leading edge of red LED, of which the principal constituents are Ga-Al-As. Therewith are connected Ga0.7Al0.3As 13 in series through FET 12' to gain red of extremely high luminance 30000 ft-L(20mA) in the red region 6650Angstrom , and more over, an emergency lamp giving light adequately usable with only several 100muA can be provided, while in the case of a daylight lamp several 100mA current at a lighting time is required. |
